28713 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Sport and Recreation: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, are planned to be disestablished in the Minister’s Departments, if any, over the next twelve months ?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have been informed that Sport NZ expects some roles will be disestablished within High Performance Sport NZ over the coming 12 months as part of meeting their Business Reduction Target. The specific number of employees whose roles may be disestablished is not yet known and will be subject to consultation.
