Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Does the Minister agree with the National Party’s ‘Delivering Better Social Housing’ document that “National’s policy changes will put downward pressure on rents, and reduce the pressure on the social housing waitlist” and if so, what advice has he received that the policy of “no-cause terminations with 90 days’ notice for landlords” will either reduce the social housing waitlist or put downward pressure on rents, by title and date, for the week of 27 November 2023?
