28687 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, have been deliberately left unfilled in the Minister’s departments, if any, from the previous financial year ?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that it has reduced its FTE by 341 positions since December 2023. This has been a result of attrition and the ending of fixed term arrangements. As vacancies arise decisions will be made as to whether to fill based on demand and funding.
