Hon Casey Costello: I can advise the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) regularly gives me advice about transnational drug and fraud networks exploiting New Zealand’s borders and Customs systems. This advice is given to me through a number of reporting and communication channels, including the Weekly Report to the Minister of Customs and during regular meetings with senior Customs officials. Migrant network exploitation is not the responsibility of Customs.
