28664 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, are planned to be established in the Minister’s Departments, if any, over the next twelve months ?

Hon Simon Watts: Following Budget 2024, Inland Revenue has received funding for a net workforce increase of 334 full-time employees (FTEs) in 2024/25. This is made up of 134 FTEs redeployed internally and 200 FTEs to be recruited. The majority of these people will be in Customer Service Officer or Customer Compliance Specialist roles. These roles will be recruited in Inland Revenue sites across New Zealand.
