28651 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What evidence, if any, does the Minister have that border seizures have materially disrupted the profitability of transnational methamphetamine syndicates?

Hon Casey Costello: I refer the Member to my reply to Written Parliamentary Question 28653 (2025). Given that the Government does not have access to the balance sheets of “transnational methamphetamine syndicates”, we can only assume that increased seizures has resulted in disruption to profitability.
