28644 (2023). Arena Williams to the Minister for Building and Construction: Does the Minister intend to create new “dedicated consenting teams” in each and every Building Consent Authority to “Transfer the processing of Category 3 building consents (buildings over 10 metres) to dedicated consenting teams that specialise in these types of buildings,” as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Better Building and Construction’ document, and if not, how does the Minister intend to enable access to these dedicated consenting teams?

Hon Chris Penk: I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. I will make further announcements on specific policy details where appropriate.
