28631 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What proportion, if any, of Budget 2025 funding for Customs is directly allocated to organised crime disruption, money laundering, or proceeds of crime enforcement?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that 100 percent of the new spending initiative funded through Budget 2025 for Vote Customs is directly allocated to work disrupting transnational, serious and organised crime groups. This includes addressing money laundering and proceeds of crime enforcement if identified through operational activity.
