28598 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What percentage, if any, of Customs drug seizures led to Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act, action on assets in each of the last five years?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) is unable to provide a percentage of drug seizures that lead to Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act (CPRA) actions, as CPRA actions are the responsibility of the New Zealand Police under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act.
