28587 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, have been disestablished in the Minister’s Departments, if any, from the previous financial year ?

Hon Chris Penk: For the 2023/24 financial year as at 4 June 2024, Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) has disestablished 54 vacant roles and completed a change process that resulted in three confirmed redundancies (to be implemented on 1 July). LINZ has offices in Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch and any disestablished roles would be in one of these three regions. Please refer to the attached table.
