Hon Penny Simmonds: Please see response below for the departments that I am responsible for: Ministry of Education I refer the Member to the Minister of Education’s response to written parliamentary question 28859 (2024). Tertiary Education Commission - I refer the member to the attachment below which includes six TEC roles broken down by job titles and region that have been deliberately left unfilled in the 2023/24 financial year. Education New Zealand has deliberately left two roles unfilled from the previous financial year, Senior Advisor People, Culture and Capability and Accountability Manager. Both in the Wellington region.
