28575 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What analytics or digital case management systems, if any, does Customs use for financial intelligence and proceeds of crime, and has the Minister been advised on upgrading them?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) uses a range of analytical tools that run across Customs business systems which support identifying financial intelligence. I have not received advice on upgrading these systems.
