28573 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills: How many jobs broken down by job titles and region, if any, are planned to be disestablished in the Minister’s Departments, if any, over the next twelve months ?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Please see response below for the departments that I am responsible for: Ministry of Education - I refer the Member to the Minister of Education’s response to written parliamentary question 28859 (2024). Tertiary Education Commission - The disestablishment of any future roles are contingent on either future policy decision, or Ministerial or government direction. TEC continually makes changes to align with financial circumstances as well as responding to government priorities and policy changes. Education New Zealand is not planning to disestablish any roles in the next twelve months.
