28572 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: What advice, if any, has the Minister had about the impacts of any job losses, if any, on the Minister’s departments, if any ?

Hon Chris Bishop: I was provided information on the Ministry for the Environment's proposed new structure prior to the Ministry presenting it to all employees on 5 June 2024. I have been informed that the proposal would see budgeted FTEs reduce by 540 to 690 in 2025/26, with an interim reduction to 819 in 2024/25.
