28562 (2025). Hon Jenny Salesa to the Minister of Customs: What is the total value of suspected criminal property linked to Customs investigations, if any, that remains unrecovered due to Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act barriers?

Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that the New Zealand Customs Service refers all instances of criminal proceeds to the New Zealand Police (Police) as this is responsibility of the Police under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act.
