Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery (CR) between 26 – 30 May 2025: • Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 29 May 2025 • Cyclone Recovery Unit Fortnightly Report, 30 May 2025. Jointly with the Prime Minister, I received the following document: North Island Weather Events: Monthly Progress Update on Categorisation, Buyouts, Infrastructure and Local Transport Projects, 28 May 2025. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from officials in NEMA, CR and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
