28473 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: Is $4.472 million for Te Au Reka, a digital case management solution for courts and tribunals as provided for in the estimates sufficient meet the capital cost to fully implement that programme?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: In Budget 2022, the 4-year budget allocation set aside was $172 million. The total whole of life funding for Te Au Reka (Caseflow Management) remains commercially sensitive. Work is currently underway to develop the detailed design which will support further validation of the cost forecasts.
