Hon Mark Mitchell: I refer the Member to the attached table, which shows the number of .223 Ranger Push Button firearms imported between 1 January 2023 and 14 June 2026, broken down by calendar year. There has been a total of two used permits, importing 81 .223 Ranger Push Button firearms. Data is based on used firearms import permits recorded in the National Intelligence Application (NIA) for items with a make of "Ranger", model "PB", and calibre ".223". The date reflects when the permit was recorded as used, rather than the actual date of import. Data contained in this report is drawn from a dynamic operational database and is subject to change as new information is recorded or updated.
