Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Does the Minister intend to establish “…a housing Commission to ensure a non-political approach in solving New Zealand’s housing issues…” as found on page 24 of the 2023 New Zealand First Party manifesto, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am not responsible for party manifestos. My immediate priorities are identified in the Cabinet-approved 100-day plan. Further priorities will be selected when capacity becomes available.
