Hon Simeon Brown: MBIE and NIFFCO are working through the detail of how the facility will be paid for, including engaging with the gentailers on a fair funding model. The funding model will include an element of user pays. There will not be any costs falling on ratepayers, port users, or iwi in Taranaki for the facility (unless they purchase LNG from the facility).
