28415 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Disability Issues: What are the Ministers expectations for the savings and performance plan for each of their responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Louise Upston: My expectation is that the Ministry of Disabled People will manage its costs within its budgets for 2024/25 and future years. I have requested an independent review into the disability support system that the Ministry funds, to ensure the system is strengthened and remains sustainable in the long-term. That is a significant priority for me at this time.
