28405 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Attorney-General: What are the Ministers expectations for the savings and performance plan for each of their responsible agencies, if any?

Hon Judith Collins: Crown Law has established a Financial Sustainability Programme which will identify, monitor and report on efficiency initiatives across all of Crown Law. Regarding Parliamentary Counsel Office, as part of the Government’s Fiscal Sustainability Programme, the Office has not been required to action any baseline savings in Budget 2024. However, the Attorney-General has made it clear to the Office that fiscal responsibility is of key importance, and taxpayer value is to be a priority at all times when making spending decisions.
