28400 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Prime Minister: When does the Minister expect their responsible agencies, if any, to implement the Initial Baseline Exercise?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: The Budget 2024 Baseline Savings Exercise was the process by which Ministers submitted potential savings and new revenue proposals for Cabinet consideration at Budget 2024. Those proposals accepted by Cabinet were announced on Budget Day. The baseline changes will be implemented from 1 July 2024.
