28360 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Since 2006, how much funding has the HRC (Health Research Council) given to ovarian cancer research, if any, and how does this compare to other areas of health research including breast and prostate cancer?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that since 2006, the Health Research Council has awarded $1,436,672 in funding to ovarian cancer, $4,199,831 to prostate cancer, and $20,110,187 to breast cancer research.
