28347 (2023). Hon Dr Deborah Russell to the Minister of Revenue: Does the Minister intend to progress ‘shifting income tax brackets to compensate for inflation’ as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Back Pocket Boost’ document, and if not, why not?

Hon Simon Watts: The Government’s policy programme and priorities are set out in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition documents. I am currently seeking advice on a range of these items from officials. Decisions taken to progress the Government’s policy programme and priorities, including decisions about agency funding , will be announced in due course. Advice and modelling officials provide to support these decisions will be proactively released as part of a proactive release process.
