28346 (2024). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister responsible for the NZSIS: When does the Minister expect their responsible agencies, if any, to implement the Initial Baseline Exercise?

Hon Judith Collins: The Budget 2024 Baseline Savings Exercise was the process by which Ministers submitted potential savings and new revenue proposals for Cabinet consideration at Budget 2024, for commencement in the 2024/25 financial year. It is my expectation that the NZSIS begins implementing the identified savings as soon as reasonably practicable from 1 July 2024.
