28339 (2025). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: What strategies, if any, are in place to ensure individuals in mental health crises receive appropriate support?

Hon Matt Doocey: There are a range of initiatives to support people suffering mental health crises, including but not limited to crisis cafes, peers in eight regional emergency departments. The Government has also announced a multi-agency response for people calling 111 in mental distress as part of Buget 25, in addition the mental health and addiction targets have a focus on faster access to services.
