28318 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for Courts: What is reason for the $119,000 cut to funding for Foundational FVSV Training for Ministry of Justice Workforce?

Hon Nicole McKee: I am advised that there have been no cuts to funding for Foundational FVSV Training for the Ministry of Justice Workforce. $119,000 was budgeted in 2024/25 to undertake a formative evaluation of the trainings’ effectiveness. The evaluation is now proposed to take place in 2025/26 to allow time to gather data and evidence for a proper assessment of the trainings’ effectiveness.
