Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What impact, if any, will there be on frontline service provision due to the $4.676m reduction in funding to family violence and sexual violence initiatives, and what advice has she seen to support her response?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that the reduction of funding is due to time-limited funding ending. It’s important to note that no one will lose access to existing Family and Sexual Violence services as a result of this funding finishing. Ministry of Social Development officials have provided advice relating to these initiatives and impacts as required.
