Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Does the Minister intend to “streamline re-consenting of existing wood processing facilities” as outlined in the National Party’s ‘Forests for a Strong Economy’ document, and if so, what advice, reports, briefings, aides-memoire, or any other documents has the Minister, or any member of their Office commissioned on this by title and date?

Hon Penny Simmonds: I intend to progress the priorities outlined in the Speech from the Throne and the coalition agreements that are relevant to my portfolio. I will be receiving advice from officials in due course.
