Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for the Environment: Is the Minister confident that they will be able to achieve the government’s commitment to "simplify the planning system and related statutes including the Public Works Act and the Reserves Act" as outlined in the National Party and New Zealand First coalition agreement in light of commitments to reduce back-office staff in the public sector?
