Hon Casey Costello: The Budget 2024 Baseline Savings Exercise was the process by which Ministers submitted potential savings and new revenue proposals for Cabinet consideration at Budget 2024. Those proposals that were accepted by Cabinet were announced on Budget day. The precise date of implementation varies by proposal.
