28247 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What capital expenditure, if any, has been committed to upgrading or replacing CT scanners since 1 January 2024, and where will that equipment be located?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our Government's focus on putting patients first and ensuring that all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, Health New Zealand has committed $71.91 million to upgrading and replacing CT scanners since January 2024 for Northern, Waitemata, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes, Hawkes Bay, MidCentral, Wairarapa, Hutt Valley, Capital and Coast, Nelson Marlborough, Canterbury, and Southern Districts.
