28236 (2023). Golriz Ghahraman to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What communication, if any, has the Government had with the Israeli Ambassador since October 7th? Please provide a list of meetings and correspondence.

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Since receiving my Ministerial warrant on 27 November 2023, I have had no communication with the Ambassador of the State of Israel. Officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade have regularly engaged with the staff at the Embassy of the State of Israel, including the Ambassador, since 7 October 2023. The Ministry is unable to specify exact meetings and times so as not to prejudice the international relations of the New Zealand Government. The Ambassador of the State of Israel was present at an event for the diplomatic corps where I delivered a speech on 11 December.
