28234 (2023). Golriz Ghahraman to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: Are there any New Zealand citizens or permanent residents still in Gaza?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Yes. Of the original 21 New Zealand citizens, Permanent Residents and family members that have sought the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s assistance to exit Gaza, all have now been able to leave the territory with New Zealand consular support. MFAT is responding to new requests for support that have been received in the past week. The New Zealand Embassy is in contact with these individuals and is providing consular assistance.
