28194 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister of Health: Further to WPQ 20214, was any iwi, hapū, Māori health authority, or Māori community health provider consulted on the proposal before it was drafted, if not, why not?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that Pharmac followed their standard process in drafting the proposal, including seeking advice from their expert clinical advisory groups. Pharmac has sought to engage further with other key stakeholder groups through their formal consultation process, as is their standard practice.
