28181 (2025). Hon Peeni Henare to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: What proportion of MFAT’s global new FTE allocations since 27 November 2023 have been assigned to India?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has not created any new FTE positions for India since 27 November 2023. The Ministry intends to reallocate a small number of its offshore diplomatic positions to meet with Coalition Government's direction. New diplomatic roles are subject to approval by the host government.
