Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised by MBIE that the draft Concept Consulting slide pack for LNG analysis MBIE published on 11 June contains information redacted under sections 9(2)(g)(i) and 9(2)(ba)(i) of the Official Information Act. In making this decision, I am advised that MBIE carefully considered the provisions of the OIA and relevant Ombudsman guidance, particularly around draft exchanges with third party consultants. MBIE does not consider that the withholding of this information is outweighed by public interest considerations in making the information available.
