Rt Hon Winston Peters: Several factors are used to assess the size of the required diplomatic footprint in any given country, including the country's geopolitical and economic significance and the nature of their relationship with New Zealand. Given India's economic and geopolitical importance is growing, the Coalition Government has confirmed that New Zealand needs to expand its diplomatic footprint in India.
