28175 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: How many agenda items, if any, was each director or member of any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible excluded from or absent for since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, role, whether the director or member was subject to a conflict of interest management plan, the number of items excluded because of a conflict of interest, the number missed for other reasons, and the total number of items the person was present for as a proportion of all agenda items considered during their tenure, as at 10 June 2026?
Cameron Brewer: I am responsible for six Crown entities (Accreditation Council, Commerce Commission, External Reporting Board, Financial Markets Authority, Retirement Commission and Takeovers Panel) and seven other bodies (Copyright Tribunal, Financial Advice Code Committee, Financial Advice Disciplinary Committee, Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand, Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal, New Zealand Standards Approval Board and Trans-Tasman IP Attorneys Board). Providing the level of information sought by the member within a written question timeframe would involve substantial collation and review and require entities to divert personnel from their core duties. I do not consider that the time and expense of answering this question to this level of detail within this timeframe is in the public interest.
