28173 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Regulation: How many estimated hours of Ministry for Regulation human resource, if any, were spent analysing departmental submissions on the Regulatory Standards Bill?

Hon David Seymour: Officials advise me that the Ministry for Regulation does not track hours for specific tasks that are part of its normal policy function. I do not consider it in the public interest to ask my officials to undertake an exercise to provide specific feedback in the time allowed for a WPQ, as it will require a diversion of resources that will interfere with the operation of the agency. This is also my reply to question 28174 (2025).
