28161 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Attorney-General: How many people, if any, appointed or reappointed by the Minister since 27 November 2023 to any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible have had a conflict of interest management plan put in place, broken down by organisation, role, the number of interests identified as giving rise to a conflict, and the date the plan was put in place, as at 10 June 2026?
Hon Chris Bishop: Crown Law and the Parliamentary Counsel Office do not have boards, and their only external committees are their Audit and Risk Committees. None of the members are appointed by the Attorney General. However, the Solicitor-General and Chief Parliamentary Counsel are appointed by the Governor-General on advice from the Attorney-General. The Attorney-General also nominates a retired High Court Judge to certify revision bills drafted by the Parliamentary Counsel Office under the Legislation Act 2019.
