28139 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Climate Change: What, if any, is the forecast emissions reduction from extending the reach of the Waste Disposal Levy to support a wider range of waste related and environmental activities announced in Budget 2024?

Hon Simon Watts: The Ministry for the Environment has not completed emission forecasting for extending the reach of the Waste Disposal Levy to support a wider range of waste related and environmental activities associated with Budget 2024. Emissions projections for the Coalition Government's policies will be included in the Second Emissions Reduction Plan, due for release by the end of this year.
