28138 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Climate Change: What, if any, is the forecast emissions reduction from the public network of electric vehicle charging infrastructure announced in Budget 2024, and does this differ from any previous forecasts prior to November 2023?

Hon Simon Watts: The Ministry for the Environment has not completed any emissions forecasting for the $200 million boost for the Rail Network Improvement Programme associated with Budget 2024. Emissions projections for the Coalition Government's policies will be included in the Second Emissions Reduction Plan, due for release by the end of this year.
