28132 (2026). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Trade and Investment: How many agenda items, if any, was each director or member of any board, committee, or other body of any agency, department, Crown entity, company, or other organisation for which the Minister is responsible excluded from or absent for since 27 November 2023, broken down by organisation, role, whether the director or member was subject to a conflict of interest management plan, the number of items excluded because of a conflict of interest, the number missed for other reasons, and the total number of items the person was present for as a proportion of all agenda items considered during their tenure, as at 10 June 2026?
Hon Todd McClay: For Invest New Zealand, I am advised no board member has needed to be excluded from any agenda item because of a conflict of interest. One board member was an apology for one Board meeting which included 7 agenda items.
For New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), I refer the Member to the attached table.
For NZTE I am advised no board member has needed to be excluded from any agenda item because of a conflict of interest. I am further advised a record of agenda items is not centrally held by NZTE. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and resources, and hence the expense, required to collate this information since November 2023, within the timeframe allowed for a written parliamentary question, is not in the public interest.
