28117 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Are the Hauora Annual Health checks fully subsidized up front by Fire and Emergency New Zealand and if not, why not?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that yes, Fire and Emergency have two contracted occupational health check providers that deliver the Hauora annual health checks to all personnel. Personnel are not required to make any payments up front for these health checks. All costs associated with this are directly invoiced to Fire and Emergency.
