28091 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Will any part of the Health Assurance Unit’s future operations be contracted to PwC or other external providers after 1 July 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: As I said in the House on 19 February, the Public Service Commission established the Health Assurance Unit to support our Government's focus on getting health back on track after previous decisions to restructure the health system in the middle of a pandemic. As the Member will be aware, operational matters will become the responsibility of the Ministry, and I am advised that no such decisions have been made.
