28090 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Did the Minister approve the withdrawal of evidence by the Deputy Director-General Māori Health from the Waitangi Tribunal hearing on 23 May 2025 and if not, who did?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, this is a not a matter for me as Minister. I am advised that instructions to Crown Law to file evidence were given by the Ministry’s Chief Legal Advisor.
