28032 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for Trade and Investment: Has the Minister informed the Agreement on Climate Change parties of the introduction of a fossil fuel subsidy in accordance with Article 4.9 1 (a) of the Agreement on Climate Change?

Hon Todd McClay: No, because a subsidy has not been introduced. In respect of this policy, the Government ensures that its decisions are compatible with trade agreements.
