28024 (2026). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Transport: What advice, if any, did the Minister receive on the suitability of installing average-speed cameras on Desert Road, given its high-risk crash profile?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have not received any such advice. NZTA is responsible for determining where new safety cameras, including average speed safety cameras are installed.
